Introduction
This compendium explores the ways in which assessment policy and practice shape student learn, as well as teaching. The compendium looks at international, national and local assessment practices and explores the culture of these using primary and secondary sources of data. Finally, this compendium also includes a concise reflective statement on how I as a teacher view and utilise assessment in my teacher practice. References for each section can be found at the bottom of each page, and external resources have been linked or made available for download.
